Loved Ones Never Die if you Believe

If you believe they are gone, you may never know that they are there.
Believe that they are with you and they always will be.
Faith in what you believe is the spiritual connection that is within us all.

Erika Alexander Explains Why White Executives Only Cast Blacks in Stereo...

The "industry" that she has demoralized is both black and white so which
entity is she focusing on here? She says "white executives are afraid
of the dark other" that is the biggest load of crap...Ms. Alexander
please do more research before you speak about such important
matters...seriously...you may be articulate in your vocabulary but you
are flip flopping all over the place and its nonsense...After reading
some comments here I realize how detrimental such a mixed message can
affect people...like this guy who comments:

A guy on commenting on this video on Youtube (below)

"Yes
they do,honey. Not only do they REALIZE they're being racist, they KNOW
they're being racist and as far as the money thing, it's all about the
money, sweetheart. They know damn well that in America OR overseas that
they're not trying to put nor see a nigger in a leading man role unless
he's a magic negro. It would scare the living fuckin' daylights out of
white people."

My response (mybloggedlife):

A magic Negro? wth is that?
LMAO....do you mean they have acting talent? Like do you consider
Denzell Washington, Cicly Tyson, Jamie Foxx, Morgan Freeman, Taraji
Henson, Samuel Jackson, Halle Berry, Djimon Hounsou, Terrance Howard,
Danny Glover. Will Smith, Angela Bassett, Whoopi, Oprah Winfrey...are
these people "Magic" by your definition? I love movies and actors that
can move me with their talents and these people are high up on the list
of my favorites!

Maybe if you and most other commentators here
actually knew who owns Hollywood you might realize that in order to make
it big they must sign on the dotted line (and that's all it is!) Google
Dave Chapelle for starters. Hollywood Cinema does not see color they
see $$ and they can make or break you based on signing yourself over to
them....Black, White or otherwise is not the issue...I concur with
Ericka Alexander about the existence of racism (in Television) But
instead of breaking the barriers of segregation and stereotypes, people
like Robert L. Johnson founded BET, MasterP founded BBT and Andrew Young
and MLK,III founded Bounce TV just to name a few. I have to say THAT is
where I see the problem. That's just in-your-face culture bias from
this viewers perspective... Then here comes Tyler Perry, criticized by
people including Spike Lee for reinforcing racial stereotypes. Although I
feel that when black screen writers make movies/shows based almost
consistently on black culture there isn't much room for white people.I
guess that is the ugly truth in Television vs real life in that regard,
it's sad! The Good News is a whole slue of talented writers, directors
and producers are breaking the barriers...I just found this site

Life is Never Lost

One minute they are here and the next minute they are gone... or are they?

Well, I have been doing some thinking and here it is;

I'm waiting for the Facebook post where Robin Williams fans will be shamed for posting about him in memoriam because soldiers are dieing and people are starving to death etc.

THE THING IS...we feel remorse for those who die fighting (even tho in vain) and we care that others suffer as well....It's sad that this society doesn't act as a whole in those matters and "change" the world...because as humans we actually have that capability....however I want to say that when a person, that so many have come to love, such as Robin Williams leaves our world...it hurts....it hurts because he was a part of our lives....the good part....the happy part. He has made me laugh and made me cry with his talent for many years.

I feel that way about many celebrities that have touched me in one way or another...(of course some/most of the others aren't worthy of stardom, lol). But in a world that can be so cruel and dangerous and lonely; there are some wonderful people that can make us love them through laughter as well as remind us that we are human with emotions that are so beautiful and sometimes so dark. While knowing that Robin Williams chose to leave us, I can't help but wonder how much he must have suffered and I think about how fragile we ALL are.

Loving someone while they are alive is one thing but loving them AND missing them after they die runs deeper than one could imagine unless they experience it. I, myself know this all too well. But a thought came to me today; that I will no longer use the acronym R.I.P or use the words "lost loved ones".... People that leave this world are not resting, they have no need for rest like they did while living in the human vessel we call bodies. And they are certainly not "lost"...I don't believe they are "gone" either...actually, I think that if anyone studies long enough on Life after Death and so on while considering what a wondrous existence the Universe is you may see that. Not allowing yourself to open up to the possibilities is both naive and ignorant.

Learn that aspect of life and death because if you believe they are "gone" they will be. Believe that they are with you always and they will be. That's the spiritual connection that is within us.

Unworthy Love

Broken Heart

Love is a many splendored thing, but can you leave you devastated when your Love is rejected. What most of us tend to do after a breakup is to curl up on the couch sobbing, eating food for comfort while watching movies about relationships or whatever. Some of us may listen to love songs, particularly the one you deemed as "our song"...well you. my friend are just breaking your own heart!

The absolute worse thing you can do is to create a pity party for yourself. Isolating and wallowing in your misery will eventually condemn you. The more you dwell in the thoughts of "What went wrong?" or "What is wrong with me?" the more you will convince (almost brainwashing) yourself that YOU are the problem!

No, no, no...drag your ass out of the house. Join up with friends, family for support. Get involved in projects and events...anything to preoccupy those negative thoughts.

Reblogged-The Orstrahyun: RIP AC/DC: 1973 - 2014

I am compelled to write about this story of Malcolm Young and the end of my all time favorite band AC/DC, but I am just too exhausted due to some health complications...So I am re-blogging the story here. Malcolm, Angus and Brian and the band itself will "Rock On" in my heart until it stops beating....and maybe even remain in my soul for eternity.

Thank you Darryl Mason of The Orstrahyun for the story!
